The Reid Cottick Little Heroes Memorial Fund was established in 2006 in honour of Reid Joseph Marvin Cottick.

Reid was two years old when he was diagnosed with a cancerous brain tumor in 2005. Reid’s family and caregivers were constantly amazed by Reid’s strength and fighting spirit. Reid’s short but courageous battle ended on September 11th, 2005. However, his strength and spirit live on in those who remember him and give to others who need help in their battle.

Since it’s inception, the fund has sponsored several programs within Winnipeg Children’s Hospital. The fund is proud of every child they are able to help in any small way and is committed to providing these Little Heroes with every possible assistance.
